In the new year, there are some new points that particularly affect trips abroad, but also the refueling of our buses and vans.
Important information about our vans and buses
Please only fill up our vans and buses with premium diesel fuel.
You will find a notice about this in the passenger compartment and on the tank filler neck. For all other vehicles, please do not fill up with premium fuels.
Driving abroad – Flensburg points register
In future, drivers from Germany will receive corresponding entries in the Flensburg points register for points obtained abroad. Stattauto München is obliged to cooperate with the law enforcement authorities in the case of foreign traffic tickets and will disclose driver data.
Speeding abroad
Speeding offenses have become much more expensive, especially in Italy. Even an infringement of a few kilometers per hour is punishable by several hundred euros. Fines of up to several thousand euros and confiscation of the vehicle are possible. Please also find out about special no-entry zones.
Tolls
It is best to book your toll tickets at the start of your journey and not weeks in advance. If your booked vehicle has to be replaced for operational reasons, your toll ticket could lose its validity as the vehicle’s license plate number changes. Stattauto München accepts no responsibility for this. Please inform yourself about chargeable environmental zones and city tolls.
Filling up with diesel from 01.04.2024
From April 2024, you will find new diesel fuels at many filling stations. These are characterized by a significantly higher proportion of vegetable oils through to basic supplements from biomass (barley, rapeseed, sugar cane, but also from waste materials such as liquid manure or used cooking oil). Nevertheless, please only fill up with normal diesel fuel. Please also do not fill up with premium fuels (with the exception of our buses and vans).
